Increase Your Energy Efficiency & Save 20% on Utility Bills.

Research shows homes without the proper amount of insulation in an attic waste a lot of energy, which equates to a lot of money as well!

So How Much Insulation is in Your Attic?

According to the U.S. Department of Energy’s Insulation recommendation, homes in the Valley should have insulation with an R-value (thermal resistance to heat flow) between R-30 and R-60 in their attic. We recommend an R-Value of R-38 to R-40 to realize the most energy efficiency for your investment.

Depending on the type of insulation used in your attic, this could mean that you need anywhere from 12-18 inches. Give us a call and let us help you determine the type of insulation you have and how much insulation you need to have an energy efficient home that will be comfortable all year round.
