How do you know that it's time to get new Tires?

Many of you have heard of the penny test. But have you heard of the quarter test?

The penny test involved inserting a penny in the tread of your vehicles Tire. Previously, it was said that if you could see the top of Lincoln's head on the penny then your tire should be replaced as the tread was too low, allowing for tread above 1/16th of an inch.

Some tire experts have now determined that it is much safer to use a quarter instead of the penny. Using a quarter guarantees you that your tire tread is at least 1/8th of an inch deep if you can't see George Washington's head.
